Who are we?
Ojos Abiertos Films is a distributor and producer of audiovisual formats directed by Davinia Burgos, which has had several works selected at national and international festivals. The philosophy of Ojos Abiertos Films is based on the generation of an authentic social transformation through audiovisual distribution as a method of innovation. As a producer, she has extensive experience in numerous short films in which she has developed production tasks and has participated as an associate producer for 15 years. As a distributor, she has been present with selections in the festivals of Portland Comedy, Malaga Film Festival, Montreal International Film Festival, SEMINCI and in the edition of the Goya Awards in 2020 where she has obtained 17 nominations for the feature film Tal como soy and 9 nominations for the feature film Nubes de cartón.
Davinia Burgos has a degree in Audiovisual Communication and a Master’s degree in Social Development of Artistic Culture from the University of Malaga and a Master’s degree in Marketing Management from the Centro de Empresarios de Málaga (CEM). She has also worked as a journalist in the Culture section of Granada Hoy (Grupo Joly) and in the International Art Gallery La Casa Rosa and Espacio Cienfuegos in Malaga.
