The XX Muestra de Cine “Mujeres en Escena” includes Davinia Burgos from Ojos Abiertos Films among its selected films for her work as a distributor in the short film Gloria y Candela by director Alicia Arwgar. She is thus competing for the Biznaga de Plata (Silver Biznaga Award). This work, which deals with the love of two women stricken by Alzheimer’s disease, has been screened together with the works of the other filmmakers chosen for this year’s edition last Tuesday. In this sense, Burgos highlighted the importance of the presence of women in the audiovisual distribution sector.
