The short film Papá, ¿Dios existe? by director Joaquín Cañabate Sahagún, in which Davinia Burgos has participated as head of production and distributor, has been nominated at the renowned Standalone Film Festival and Awards (SFFA) held in Los Angeles (USA). This international event, now in its second edition, hosts works by independent directors and creators without barriers of borders, genre or language in the heart of Hollywood. The festival has received more than 5,000 films from over 50 countries. Finally, millions of viewers from all over the world will make a selection from among the nominated films to be screened at the TCL Chinese Theatre, located on Hollywood Boulevard at the end of September. This venue is considered one of the mythical places of the Hollywood film industry that has been attended by artists such as Groucho Marx, Marilyn Monroe, John Wayne, Harrison Ford, Tom Hanks, Meyrl Streep and Denzel Washington, and is located next to the Walk of Fame and the Dolby Theatre in the Californian city.
